Our meetings every month or two are focused on fellowship, faith formation, and relationship building for folks in their 20s and 30s – or anyone in the post-high school to “young family” life stage. This time of emerging adulthood can be exciting, but also confusing, difficult, and even lonely. Friendship, fun, and mutual support from others who are experiencing the same things, or have recently been through the same life transitions, can make a huge difference. A shared desire to explore spirituality, community, and justice-seeking connects members on a deeper level.
Gather Massachusetts seeks to reach out beyond one congregation or ministry setting, building young adult community throughout central Massachusetts, the Pioneer Valley, and any other corners of New England where members can make the trip! Though our community is new, we envision a bright future that could include retreats or service trips, peer mentorship, advocacy training, and connections with our friends at Gather Connecticut – the possibilities are endless.
Save the date! Join us on Friday, March 14th for a Pi Day Pie Potluck!
Catch us leaning into our nerdy side as we celebrate everyone’s favorite irrational number! Bring your best pie to this goofy and delicious potluck – and feel free to get creative. Do you love quiches? Classic apple? Shepherd’s pie? Will you channel Great British Bake Off with a meat pie? Or a tart topped with meringue? We can’t wait to see all the Gather Massachusetts family on this festive almost-spring Friday.
