Improved Communication

One of the church council goals is to improve the communication within the congregation. This system has a group e-mail function. This allows the church office to send information to the members in a timely manner, i.e a change in meetings times, a cancellation or an important notice. This will save the church the cost of postage and improve the outflow of information.

Group e-mail is another form of communication that will be used in addition to what we already have. If you do not choose to use e-mail we will send your information by US mail.

Consolidate Data

ICONCMO consolidates all church information into one System. This eliminates replication of data and the effort required to maintain multiple copies.

Member Access to their information

ICONCMO allows members access to the information the church has on file, including the history of their financial contributions. This will mean that only one paper statement will be produced at year end each year. A hard copy of your contributions is always available upon request.

Access to your personal information must be explicitly requested by you. The login security of the system requires your e-mail address. Email us at gslc_finsec1@verizon.net to request access. If you need assistance please contact Tom Olson or the church office.

Here are the Steps needed to gain Access to your information on the ICONCMO system

Using ICON CMO to access your information

ICON is the name of the software company. CMO stands for Church management On-line.

After login to ICON CMO you will see a task bar at the top. There are 6 options on that task bar: Household information, Member Information, Financial Information, Security Settings, e-mail church and Church Directory.

You can view all the information under these headings. Information on this web site can only be changed the church office. Please e-mail them with any updates to your information.

A brief summary for each of the options.

1. Household information contains information on the household and the head of the household. i.e name address, phone, email etc. This screen appears automatically on login.
2. Member information contains information about each member of the household… i.e name birth date, et. It will also include church groups in which the member participates. i.e Council Tags, etc. This data has yet to be entered.
3. Financial Information contains you a history of your contributions. Information in prior years is available using this system but I have not verified that prior years information is correct. It may be missing or in-accurate. Please let me know if you need this information or if you believe it to be inaccurate.
4. Security is used to change your login and password. If you forget your password I can re-initialize your access. I can not obtain your password. If you wish to disable access to your information, please let me know.
5. Email is used to send information to the church office. i..e to update or correct your information.
6. Pictorial directory will be used to display the pictures and names of members in the congregation.

1. The only way to be on the church e-mail list is to make sure your current active e-mail address is on file to the church office. The best way to do this is send e-mail to gslc_office@verizon.net.
2. If you want access to your current financial information. E-mail the financial Secretary at gslc_finsec1@verizon.net. By default, this capability is turned off for every member. If you don’t want this feature, there is nothing that needs to be done.
3. If you request access to financial information, You will receive an e-mail from Good Shepherd financial with four pieces of information.
   • Church phone number 5083667095
   • Your system assigned login number
   • Your system assigned login password
   • The Web URL to use to access the server. http://www.iconcmo.com/login
4. The login box will prompt you for all of the above information. Do not enter the ( ) or — in the phone number
5. Once you are logged in, the web page with your information is presented. (See example on top of next page). If this is not your information please contact the church office!
6. You can change the login id and password to something that you will remember. This is done under the security tab.
