Health ministry mission statement and responsibilities

Prayer shawl ministry
Prayer shawls are available for any members of Good Shepherd. Church members can also request a prayer shawl for family or friends who are not members. We are blessed with many talented knitters and crocheters who have created a variety of beautiful shawls for those needing God’s comfort. Please contact Kristen McCordick, Greta Magenis or one of the pastors to request a prayer shawl.

Five Wishes Program
The Five Wishes document helps you express how you want to be treated if you are seriously ill and unable to speak for yourself. It is unique among all other living will and health agent forms because it looks to all of a person’s needs: medical, personal, emotional and spiritual. Copies of this document are available on the kiosk in the church lobby as well as in the parish nurse office. For more information, visit the website www.agingwithdignity.org
